Children counting in a 1stClass@Number lesson

Edge Hill University has created a hub of resources for schools, families and communities to support their interests and learning over the coming weeks and months. The resources being shared have come from a range of sources. Some created or recommended by EHU lecturers and colleagues, some  shared by schools and others by parents. Wherever they are from, the University is offering them to you in the spirit of supporting learning in lots of different ways. These are not recommendations, just suggestions and you will be best placed to select what works for you. Click here to access the hub.

Every Child Counts helps schools to raise achievement through:

  • a range of programmes to support children who struggle with  mathematics
  • developing high quality teaching approaches for all children.

Every Child Counts provides professional development, training and resources for school leaders, teachers and teaching assistants in and beyond the UK. It is run by Edge Hill University on a not-for-profit basis and was set up with support from the DfE.

Edge Hill University’s Every Child Counts interventions have been good investments and have helped our pupil premium pupils to make enhanced progress.
